How long does the life coaching training session last?
There are no rules as to the duration of the training. Most coaches offer unique coaching sessions that can be as effective for some people as a coaching program. However, it is more common to reserve a minimal training program and add more, or even take less if necessary.
The coaching sessions generally last between 60 and 90 minutes and take place in a week.
Several types of research have shown that it takes 21 days to create a habit or a new way of being. In this spirit, and my experience, a six-hour, one-hour, weekly coaching program is enough to make a difference and put you on the path to a new way of life.
Remember that it may have taken many years to reach the stage you are in, and to make lasting changes, it will also take time. It does not mean that you should consider it difficult or impossible. Everything you put in your mind can be reached.
What makes a good life coach?
In my view, a great life coach will have various life experiences and will have completed an accredited qualification.
A good life coach will be positive, friendly, professional, honest, empathic, organized, intuitive, and objective. They will respect your beliefs, goals, and desires while allowing you to explore new actions that will lead to the desired results.
A good coach will believe in you when you do not believe in yourself and ultimately help you see that you have everything in you to help you achieve what you want. A good coach will speak; that is, he will usually be happy, healthy, and fulfilled!
What could you do to start looking at your life more positively now?
One of the hardest things to do is to be objective with ourselves. However, if you are reading this, you are probably about to make changes in your life and to achieve different ways of being.
It all starts with a thought, and so begins where you are now.
Write down your thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Do you still think negatively? Do you respond in a way that you feel is not good for you or others? Do you often have negative emotions?
When you feel that you think, contact or act in a way that you believe is not “good,” observe. Bring your attentiveness to the current moment and see what you think, feel, or do.
By doing this, you become your silent observer. Do not judge yourself, but notice what happens, as it happens.
You will begin to realize that you have the choice to think and, therefore, to feel and act differently and to serve you, that is, in a way that is beneficial to you.
Focus the target
Rather than focusing on what you do not want, focus on what you want. Start replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. At first, you may consider that you are continually observing and observing your dreams, but in a short time, you will find that thinking more positively is more natural.
